Meet our New President

Hello Redwood Pal Golden Bears Family! We’re excited to introduce Chris Perez as the new President of our beloved Redwood Pal Golden Bears. Chris is a true embodiment of leadership and community spirit. A proud graduate of Piner High School, he began his coaching journey with us in 2002. After a brief hiatus to establish a successful electrical business and dedicate time to his family, Chris is back to inspire and lead our young athletes.

As a father of four boys and one daughter, and husband to the most amazing team mom Kellie Perez, Chris has always been a pillar in the Sonoma County youth community. His commitment to giving back is evident through his active roles with the Conservation Corp for Kids, The 100 Black Men of Sonoma County and Board member of the North Bay Black Chamber, not to mention his involvement in numerous local coalitions.

Chris’s unique blend of humor, dedication, and passion for youth development makes him a perfect fit for our organization. His vision for the Golden Bears is not just about football; it’s about nurturing the next generation of leaders. If you’re at the field, don’t miss the chance to meet Chris. His infectious laughter and

genuine care for the community are sure to leave a lasting impression. Off the field, he enjoys working out, camping, and creating cherished memories with family and friends.

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Chris Perez, a one-of-a-kind leader ready to guide the Redwood Pal Golden Bears to new heights!

Meet our New Cheer Director

We're excited to announce our new Cheer Director, Alexis Willis. Cheer sign-ups will be closing in the next few weeks. Please sign up or reach out with questions ASAP if you're interested in cheering this year. Below is a note from Alexis:

Hi, my name is Alexis! I am so excited to be taking on Cheer Director for Pal this year. This will be my 15th year in the cheer world. I spent 10 years as an athlete in youth recreational, all stars, and high school. After I graduated high school, I continued coaching that team for three years. This will be my second year both at coaching at the youth level and at Pal! I had the best time coaching and being a part of this program last year and am so excited for this upcoming season!
